Good Morning Garrapata

This painting was started in a class given by Master Pastelist Gil Dellinger, using one of his own photo references, during which I got the key elements blocked in and then continued to work out the full painting in my home studio.

The glorious Garrapata State Park is situated along the California coastline overlooking Monterrey Bay’s Marine Sanctuary. The waters below these coastal headlands often entice marine mammals, including sea otters, to come play. Visitors delight in their antics while being mesmerized with the dramatic beauty of the colorful blankets of vegetation and the sparkling azure waters.

It brought me great joy to live virtually within this coastal playground as I painted. May it do the same for you when viewing it.

This painting is protected behind Masterpiece Glass, an anti-glare, UV protective, museum quality glass and sold framed. Shipping is available. Any applicable sales tax and shipping costs will be calculated after purchase from the gallery. The purchase inquiry form on this website suggests shipping costs at $0.00, but this is incorrect as each piece is individually packaged and shipped with the most appropriate carrier based on the purchaser's destination, at which time all final costs can be determined.
